I built this A frame a little bigger for more comfort, Ideally a lot more leaves would be needed but this held up to a few showers, I knocked my head in the night and some leaves fell haha. With these shorter winter days, getting enough time to build a one day shelter can be hard and tiring but fun and rewarding, was a chilly night but at least I remembered my mat this time ;)

No need for speech. Felt more like I was the one camping solo!  Loved the vid

Catching up on your older vlogs Andy! I like it when you talk, as you are always interesting, knowledgeable and honest, but  I guess nice to do a quiet video, just hearing the sounds of nature and bushcraft too! They are all great!

THE PARTS  I LOVE : WHEN YOU COOK AND WHEN YOU ARE TUCKED IN BED, THE MOON APPEARS AND THE OWL COULD BE HEARD  HOOTING IN A DISTANCE.....
GOODNIGHT..

Izaak Walton said, "Study to be quiet." It is the best way to enjoy being outdoors. Thank you, Andy. It's not just what you see outdoors, it's what you hear when you are being quiet.

Whoever reads this I wish him good luck🙂🍀

To be out in the woods with only sounds of nature... The audio of sawing trees and branches - chopping wood - to building and making a fire - to the preparation of the meal - So relaxing and peaceful. I loved it all.

This has to be one of my favourite YouTube videos ever. As a content creator you provide footage that can calm, inspire, teach, humble and entertain amongst much more. YouTube creators should follow in your footsteps, please keep it up!

I just want to say how much I enjoy the editing in your videos

Watched a lot of your videos and it's refreshing to see you get back to pure basics. Spot on, I really enjoyed this one!

something very cathartic about your videos. thanks for sharing good sir, and keep the videos coming!

So unbelievably peaceful 🥰

Love the transition of using flint and steel and char cloth to light your fire, to a common Bic lighter to light your lamp :) Great video.

Pure serenity, peace and at one with nature. That's what camping alone in the woods is all about...

Lovely relaxing video☺️ Love how you mix them all up. Tents, caves, natural shelters etc. And of course good food. Really well done on another class video 🥰👍

THAT is cutting some bacon!!! I'm more the watch you from the recliner camper. At 76 I couldn't even walk there much less anything else. Really enjoy your adventures and sharing it all with us

WoW! What a labor of love this video is! Perfect to have it “silent”.
Love your commentary footage always. But as hard as what you were working, it was fitting. Thank you again for sharing your talents with us. You are remarkable Andy. 👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼🤗🥰
