I’m dead serious: I would give anything to have Pete be my personal therapist. He’s so full of insight and kindness.

I love the “if I was them I’d be them” quote. I’ll use this for sure.

"My mom should understand me? Is that true? You're suffering over an illusion that should be happening."

"PTSD Club Member" was the best joke of the pod. Love this duo. You two need to make more pods together.

Been waiting for Pete on Blocks since before Blocks existed

One of the best episodes to date. As much as I love empathizing with the guests over their blocks, I really enjoyed a break to listen to psychedelic and comedic philosophy.

I loved Pete’s book! It was so 🤯. It made me go into a rabbit hole starting with Ram Dass. I wish this episode was longer!! We need a Pete part 2!!!!

Neal, you're hitting gold with these. At first I thought, 'Another podcast of comedians?' ... then watched it... totally different. Doing it with blocks is genius. They're all forced to be real. You are a genius, Neal. Thank you.

I really love Pete's emotional intelligence and viewpoints on things. Great episode!

This is what Joe's podcast was back in the day... Okay, mostly when Duncan Trussell was on, and with less machine elves stories 😂
Thanks for this format and for keeping the flame alive!

Just discovered this podcast, and it's right up my alley! Wow, Pete Holmes... He's been one of my favorites for the past couple of years but lately listening to him on podcasts has been so healing for me as a woman to hear a man be able to conceptualize and verbalize and express his trauma and healing so vulnerably. but with pride and humor and showing that deep sense of pain thats there in the depths. What a brilliant mind!

7:48 - Pete - " When I tell you that YOU're a good boy. then I'M in the mix."
I also heard: ' If you can spot it, you got it. ' , which is a phrase, I first heard in 12 step meetings, and is very insightful.
