My wife watched this because she was curious about Broly.

Afterwards, she asked “”So what’s the real reason he hates Goku?”

“That is the real reason“.

She proceeds to laugh harder than I’ve ever heard before!

The Pilaf scene was great. I love the idea that Goku loaths Pilaf so much that he turns into a monster when dealing with him

The idea that the Pilaf gang is Goku’s reference for PURE evil because they were his first villains is adorably hilarious

I love dr.brief’s “not impressed” implying that the gay agenda to him is like an actual plan and he’s not impressed and could do better.

Y'all got to understand. Vegeta is a true blooded Saiyan and right now he is watching the legend from stories he was told as a child demolishing literally everything and everyone.

Okay but Trunks being more afraid of Bulma killing him for losing/destroying his jacket for a split second than he is of the clear and present danger that is fucking BROLY is the most teenager thing ever lmao

Trunks’ genuine fear in “Goku get me off this planet right now.” Is my favourite line from the show

Fun fact, broly was my first "I can fix him" as a young girl becoming a teen, and the crush I had on Vegeta was out the window, I chucked the prince of the saiyan race so hard in the trash it wasn't even funny.

“For you see Prince Vegeta, you’re not dealing with the average saiyan warrior anymore.”

still top 3 callbacks in the series for me 🤣

Headcanon: Pilaf's therapist is the same one who treated Vegeta during the time skip before the Buu Bits, because they have a specialty in Goku-related trauma sjdsfjsdf

I love the idea that Goku is such a simple guy that he doesn't recontextualize people from his past as he ages and grows. So to him enemies he fought back in like Muscle Tower and Baba's palace are go to examples of serious, powerful foes, just because they seemed that way to him when he first met them.

I love the implication that broly knows trunks is a boy despite being called a princess and still almost instantly marries him lol. Good for him. Sad that trunks is a widow now though.

The Princess Trunks joke will never not be funny. This entire movie will never not be funny. Yall are the best.

A plot where paragus tries to help his son be a z fighter and brolly is an awkward, socially inept, sayian would have been hilarious

The delivery of trunks’ “get me off this planet” is one of my favorite moments of the entire series

NAAAAAAAAAIL gather the dragonballs and wish for Toei to step on a Legoooooooooo

It’s so sweet how Shu tries to help Pilaf through his anxiety attack, you can tell he cares.

Learning that there is a timeline where Markiplier voices Broly is INSANE.

I love how Broly says "Broly's wife?" and Trunks responds to it. He accepts that title.
