K. Im here to learn all about how to NOT 'get the mistakes wrong." I want to get all of my mistakes 'right'!

I've never seen any barrel jeans look good on no one. It's one item I can't wait to see the back of. Great advice though.

Love your styling…❤

I love jeans with heels. I have those Quince straight legs. Wore them today!

Today I learned how to make sure that my ankle boots don't compete with the hem of my jeans. Also, I love the kitten heels with denim. Thanks for another great video!

Thank you - I appreciate videos about pant styles and shoes - love the kitten heel recommendation

Love this video❤

I have a request for a future video regarding sock/footwear during the cool/cold months in the Midwest. If it is cool enough for a sweater and jeans, then socks are likely a practical necessity. What footwear options work with socks for the 5+ months of cool/cold weather we experience? Being limited to bootie/boots that can be worn with socks that whole time gets pretty boring.

Ziba.  Denim jeans 👖 are the perfect transition piece of clothing from Summer to Fall.  Your platform sandals are perfect for jeans.  I am probably going to skip barrel leg jeans myself.  I tried a pair of barrel jeans a long time ago and I remember looking like Ronald McDonald wear it.  Bootcut jeans and skinny jeans, especially when wearing black or chocolate brown knee-high boots 👢, are fantastic when worn with a turtleneck sweater, especially when the weather starts getting cooler.  I love wearing them with either a black leather moto jacket or a brown suede jacket 🧥.  I watch your videos Z and I’m glad I learn something new every time.  My vacay ends after tonight and I return to work tomorrow night.  Great video Z!  Have fun at Fashion Week.  Thanks. 😊

All my favourite jeans now are 100% cotton but the caveats are: you have to wear them in a little and not wash too much, get the correct size in the first place, and usually has to be a quality brand that pays refined attention to the cut and 'hand feel' of the fabric, because there's less room for error. (And I love how polarizing barrel cut is. I'm in the 'yes' camp for barrel cut, but for these prefer NOT denim but drapier fabrics so it's less obvious).

I think the barrel pants make everyone look bowlegged. The first time I saw them I was shocked. I just cannot adjust.  Can you imagine a bowlegged person wearing these?  Well, they might just be a perfect fit.  There's a pair of pants for everyone out there!

Hey Ziba 👋🏾👋🏾 Awesome video!!! I always love and appreciate your styling videos!! I always always learn something new and a fresh way to wear clothes sitting in my closet!! I'm a huge fan of wearing heels with denim... Probably stems from the combination of my generation and short stature 😂but I have always loved the combination...with that said I was definitely guilty of chunky loafers, shoes, and platform sneakers with some of my flare and wide leg jeans in my super casual outfits... I'm still looking for slimmer varieties of footwear and adjust my hemlines accordingly in the last few seasons and I can definitely tell the difference in how much cleaner the outfits look... I cannot wait to hear back from you on New York Fashion Week!! Hopefully you are having a blast!! I do hope that you and your family are doing well!! Thank you so much for sharing your expertise and guidance!! It's always greatly appreciated ❤❤ Take care, my friend and have a wonderful weekend ❤❤

That barrel leg jean is ridiculous no matter what we do - lol - have passed on this trend.  The slide sandals are awful and the boots don't help any.  lol  I am into a statement sock though.  Fun!

Yes barrel  leg have got to be styled differently. That's why I only purchased 1 pair. Thanks though.😅😊🎉

Ugh shoes !!.I have a love/hate relationship with them lol.
I'm currently looking for like a sock boot but, with a flay heel for my barrel /cropped jeans. I'm kind of tall & old so I cannot handle heels. It's been frustrating to say the least :(
Love your channel !!

C'est pour cette raison que je n'ai pas ces jeans ni ces bottines

Whiskering means the fit is too tight across the low hip area, and you need a larger size.

Couldnt get past 55 seconds. Oh well.

I just ordered a pair of loafers from Macys but want to get a pair of Bella straight leg jeans. I’m between 5’3”-5’4” (I’m not exactly sure!) I’m pretty much perfect in a 29” inseam (which doesn’t exist). What size inseam do you suggest I get to wear the straight legs with loafers? 28”? Also are you wearing the regular straight leg or the relaxed straight leg? Thank you for your help - I will shop through your link!😊
