Hello, and welcome to another one of my videos! I wanted to make this video for a while, and I was finally able to film it. I go all over the place with what I discuss, but I promise I just want to help babybats/newbie goths! Hopefully, you find some tips useful and if you're already an established goth feel free to leave more tips in the comments!
I apologize for any editing mistakes or typos! This is the longest video I've made yet, and my computer takes a long time to render videos. So I do review my videos before posting, but I don't have time to rerender the whole thing for simple mistakes. I also probably contradict myself at times and use the wrong words but in the moment, I don't realize. I hope you can forgive me lol

I love ebay so much for clothes, jewellery and New Rocks! So many bargains to be found! Just sort by used to get rid of the dropshipped crap.
If you’re in the UK, Oxfam, Shelter and British Heart Foundation charities have online stores as well which is a little pricier than on the high street but they generally put the nicer things on there, for example I found a gorgeous onyx cross choker and lots of leather and velvet skirts on Oxfam and also some Siouxsie and the Banshees and the Cure tour collectibles and vinyls.
I also recommend (if you can sew) purchasing lace trim, buttons, (making) patches and other trims to elevate basic clothes. I love putting lace trim on basic skirts and shirt sleeves to take things up a notch. Crochet and knitting are also good options, you can buy secondhand jumpers and cardigans and unravel them (after washing) to reuse the wool, there’s a good guide on the website Morale Fiber.
