Another cracking vid. 👍

Trout is a good deadbait for pike

Most of my big female pike have come on sardines mate, hard on bottom in a few different reservoirs,  mackerel tail has caught a few too, smelt dyed red were also deadly.

Great session mate . Some nice pike caught.  Tight lines

You got your moneys worth off Tommy the trout !!! Great vid, mate ! 😬😎🎣

It looks like your underestimating the weight of the fish a few looked like doubles

That’s not for me I’ll give that a swerve cheers lads

The odds of catching two different fish with the same lump are very high. I have checked the markings and they were the same fish. Trout was always the first bait I cast out, then Eel segment, the third can vary from Sandeel, Smelt, Roach or Mackerel. I am taking up pike fishing again after a long absence and the first three will be Trout, Eel and Sandeel, as I have no Roach yet.

I had a lovely 18lber and lost a good fish 2nd of March on same venue fishing the 1st peg up against the left hand margin.

Hhi there could you please tell me what net that is

Where are you fishing ?

Great session 👍
