i appreciated jillian calling that one "professional" out and saying that if she did her job right, then there would be no weight cycling at all.

There's so much whataboutism from these people debating Jillian and not enough addressing and truly refuting her points.

The best part of this entire debate is that it's getting so much traction, and now so many newer people who didn't even know fat acceptance was a thing, are now seeing it and seeing how insane these people are.

HAES tells people that it's impossible for any person to have the strength or independence to overcome their ED. That's not empowerment.

I had the red haired lady at 22:05 as a professor for a university course called "weight and society". It was exactly as you'd think it would be and she was just as insufferable in that class as you'd expect.

I have seen half a dozen reviews of this debate. This was the best. I'm so glad science denial was finally pointed out... not that the scientifically illiterate American public cares, but that should be of critical importance!
