Really appreciate the support. I'm really glad to hear all the theory's and perspectives. I probably should have included in the description, but yes I voiced bonnie, freddy, william afton, and fredbear. Also what if chica wasn't trying to kill the girl in the bathroom, but instead was warning her? That's one of my favorite scenes because the animatronics intentions can be bad or good, but you can never truly tell. Thank you again for supporting the series, and for supporting spectre. Really great video.

I like how the cast of Freddy's has been nice enough to put on pants.

I love how realistic Squimpus' VHS remake/Battington's VHS series is tbh; like how for example, the animatronics look to have huge CEC or ShowBiz Pizza design inspiration, and also how they never really rely on the jumpscare factor, and that it is mostly the Anticipation of the scare that gets me.

Actually seeing how someone would wear the springlocks really puts it into perspective on how dangerous and terrifying it must be to wear one. Like I know I would not have the guts to get inside one. With my luck it would lock up and it doesn't seem you have long to live once it happens. And that's assuming you'll be able to scream for help with all that pain and that someone would hear you and come in time (and like there's no way someone would be able to stay calm when they're in pain and dying).

15:17 I'm seeing these videos for the first time, so Foxy suddenly disappearing came off as unintentionally hilarious because it just reminded me of memes where people voices were perfectly cut off with an echo. It doesn't help that before he disappeared, he lifted his head like he was shouting.

I think the most terrifying thing about the Battington tapes is the fact he doesn't hold back on kids dying like fnaf does. Sure fnaf can say the children were murdered but to actually show the brutality of what happened to these kids sheds a new light on how horrific fnaf is.

"We see golden freddy twitching violently"

Freddy: Playing the sickest bongo solo

My biggest gripe with the fnaf series has always been how we never really got to see the animatronics be animatronics. I feel like the series would be 100x better if there were like, progressive scenes with them preforming and slowly degrade as each night passed.

The Battington videos are so horrifying. They’re done so well, and I wonder if anyone will make a fan-game of them.

wait, did people not like the performance of Foxy’s VA? bro, his voice acting is my favorite part of the Pirate Cove Pre-Show tape - his pirate laugh always makes me happy 😭

it's so refreshing to see fnaf be actually scary. We can all agree fnaf has gone down a questionable path but the fanbase is truly one of the best

I’ve seen not many people talk about the bare plate endo crawling around scene. But from the few that I’ve seen do, the most popular theory is that this was the aftermath of the bite.
When the Crying Child dies, he immediately gets trapped in the Fredbear endoskeleton/suit. And this scene is the first time we see him wake up in this state. The building sets up an evacuation alarm as the suit weakly crawls around, as if CC is trying to get used to it and actually understand what’s going on. He must be so confused and in such agony of suddenly being trapped that he tries to talk… but the only thing the robot allows to go out of his sound box is the happy birthday tune. And then, when CC sees the cameraman, he starts to get closer probably not to kill them, but to beg for help: that’s why he reaches his hand to him and finally let’s a horrendous scream.
All we might be watching is the terrifying experience of the CC when he possesses an animatronic for the first time.

i never noticed that detail at 10:50 it makes the whole video so much more unnerving knowing that afton was there the whole time

Man, Squimpus was so committed to his work that he became a monster in real life too

This is the direction I wish the games had gone in. Instead they went in the "children's horror" direction and overexplained everything until there was no room for your imagination to fill in the blanks. It's really unfortunate.

5:56 - A minor correction on the “No Movement for the Eyes” note, as a lot of people don’t really notice it without careful comparison: When the Employee/Camera Person moves to Test the eyes following the ears, Bonnie does in fact move. His eye lids perk up so his gaze is wide and alert, and his head is tilted ever so slightly to be staring lock-eyed directly into the Camera. The change however is so subtle that you would only really register it after staring at him long enough.

unironically i prefer the showbiz-like designs here over the weird segmented designs of the canonical animatronics. makes them feel more believable and real, y'know?

I'm grateful Battington stopped with the nonsensical jumpscares in every entry in H&H and went for a more psychological horror.

1:29 "It kinda is the grandfather of all these series."

Actually that would be Junior0437 that would be the grandfather of FNAF VHS.

Their first FNAF VHS video came out in December of 2016, and they stopped making videos sometime around 2019.

I spoken to them last year, and they seemed to be doing fine.

But yeah, Junior0437 started the FNAF VHS genre, Squimpus merely brought widespread attention towards it.

The chica restroom scene is absolutely perfect. This is everything I would ever want from these types of analogue VHS horror type videos. It's absolutely terrifying and has the atmosphere I expected security breach to have before release
