15:16 no way! I think it’s fabulous you did the testing and experimenting on screen. This kind of thing is what helped me the most when first starting out. I find myself reaching for King Art gel sticks more and more. They are so versatile and fun!
I love the soft airbrushed look that you created with brush and pallet. I have used them with water,some. But mostly I am a "Messy Mess Maker!" I scribble on paper and blend with my fingers! They layer and blend and add texture! You can layer over pencil and pencil over gel stic after it dries. I grab them most often with Camilla d'ERRICO and Eiry books....

Hi Sel, these set quickly so if you want to erase it’s better to do a section, erase, do another section, erase etc. More color comes off that way.

I just received my King Arts gel pens and I haven'y had time to even swatch them. I didn't know you could erase them. I have those brushes you used here because I remember seeing you use them a while ago with distress inks. I will be be giving this technique a go. Thank you for the tutorial.

I come from the art world. If you want to set your pages you can use Micro Glaze made by Ranger ( a Tim Holtz Distress brand). It is for use with watercolor media. It will protect it so that you won’t get any movement if you use other water based media on top of them. The spray and lift won’t really work as well with other watercolor media as it does with Distress because they are specially formulated to react to water and lift, and other watercolor mediums aren’t made to do that. Just some information I hope helps. Love your background here. Thank you for sharing how you applied them.
