For anyone wondering, his saying that it “feels outdated in this day and age” is actually a feature of the swift, some people don’t need turbos on a 1.2 litre and 100 screens everywhere. When will these reviews realise that the market is changing

I went from a six speed two year old from Fiesta to a Swift. No comparison, Swift all day long, could not wait to see the back of the Fiesta !

Had my brand new one 2 weeks, absolutely fabulous, don't need all that new crap that can go wrong, drives like a little sports hatch

We had a prev gen SZL and it was more than adequate and very economical I can only assume this refresh is slightly improved 380 miles to Cornwall with 60 miles of range to spare.
I too would give the Clio a look but if you qualify for Suzuki Tier 1 discount via blue light card or similar I cannot see the Clio beating the value.

Just test driven this to replace my fiesta….. it’s much smaller, no power either, had to change gear all the time, fuel economy nothing like advertised ….. our average was 48mpg and no… we didn’t drive it hard. Our test drive included main roads, country roads, motorway and hills… a thorough ‘normal’ drive. It’s a nice enough car but a city car not an all-rounder like the fiesta. It becomes much more expensive when you add optional extras or want any colour other than white… it’s not a very comfortable car either… it does feel tiny…. Especially on the motorway and we found it difficult to enter the motorway due to the lack of power ….. with no acceleration.
