Hey PP, you have put in alot of of $$$ n effort to reach 150. Congrats on the 131. I donāt chase a top end number anymore but have over 45 years playing with fast rc and real sport boats. Friction is yer enemy and yer finding out how much every lit detail matters. - try different lubricants in yer driveline like trans fluid but need to keep adding between runs. wet sand running surface with 400-600-800 crosshatch to break surface tension same theory applies to water surface- little ripples faster that glass - props trailing edge needs to be clean n sharp/square⦠-cutting down larger diameter prop - carefully thinned leading edge Carefully balancing prop will help yer strut bearing last longer Look up size of bearing on yer motor and replace with ceramic bearings - make sure yer gaps are good so prop thrust doesnāt cause rubbing in driveline. U need to keep all wires short as possible and examine yer solder joints watch ur temps! Watch angle of attack to minimize wetted surfaces- look into building a wood Zippkitās rigger or building a longer tub using Oxideanās sponsons to achieve the cg with more aggressive props⦠Cool yer motor more often!!!!
Oh jeez... Im seeing some serious dollars there... I've seen mgm esc for sale because off complex settings. Don't own one or whatever, but that was reason given for being sold... I do know they get used "a lot" in saw in Europe with lehner so its kind off interesting to know how it performs. From my understanding their esc's are more off industrial quality with warranty, can be upgraded afterwards and so on.. But if i had to guess i still suspect the esc with highest amps would win no matter what. If one cuts at 400 and other at 550A that would mean significant difference in power. If a motor would be like 1 or even 5% more efficient that still would not do the trick... Well, wish you all the luck. You set yourself some serious goals and got some serious stuff to do so!
Looks like you need to mail that MGM off to MM to get that woolich racing unlock. š. Man they looked good, planted and stable boy. Just need to turn up that boost controller or just pin it shut with one of those cobra ace escās.
How I tested MGM X3 40035, LMT2260 vs CASTLE XLX2, TP POWER
