if anyone is upset that this is the first they're hearing abt this, dont blame maya. Alveus posted on twitter and did a stream talking abt it which is on Alveus highlights. im sorry for your losses maya, hope you all are doing alright.

It broke my heart hearing timber and nilla's passing, and my heart broke again today after hearing another alveus ambassador had passed away.

Rest in peace, Timber, Nilla, and Chips 🕊 gone but never forgotten 🫶

So sorry for the losses, thank you for all you do

starts talking about it at 6:15 btw

RIP Timber and Nilla!

rest in peace Nilla & Timber <3

my fromer girlfriends dog passed unexpectatly at 4 years old with a flipped(bloated stomach. Went unnoticed for like 2-3 hours and then the emergency surgery wasnt able to save him. Rip Ecko

Aww, at least you’ll have the needle felted Timber to remember him by

Nilla, Timber, and now Chips too. I can’t imagine the weight on all the staff this month. 💔

My poor dog had bloat 4 times in her life but it would reverse itself. She’d also get gulping seizures/double swallowing fits. I’d rush her to the vet, and she’d be normal again by the time the vets saw her. This is some years ago, but they never even recommend that surgery. She’s my profile pic. She died at 10 years old, but not from bloat. She passed peacefully in her sleep🙏

my parents dog died in january and it took them 8 months to get over her passing and adopt a new puppy. they had her for 2-3 months and fell in love. they took her to get spayed and her vitals dropped and she died from cardiac arrest. i feel so bad for them.

rip Chips, Nilla and Timber 🖤🖤🖤

RIP sweet rats

Hopefully Hasan had a genuine change of heart. A couple weeks back he called vets money hungry for suggesting preventatives, such as the gastropexy on Kaya. Love the dude, but as an LVT that got me heated at the time. If vets and vet staff wanted money we would not be in this field.

GDV or bloat is one of the most common emergencies that we see, and prognosis gets worse every minute it isn't resolved. Rapidly fatal. Saw a case in the last month where the owner waited a couple of hours to bring in the dog and I initially thought it was DOA. If you have a large breed dog it can be absolutely life-saving to get a preventative gastropexy done.

Maya is just an overall beautiful person, inside and out. I hope she's doing well

Happened to an English mastiff I had as a kid too, sucks.

omg i knew about timber but the rattys too 😢😢😢 awh
