Finally sat down and gave my hair some proper time today! Just a simple middle part, two big cascadou plaits right down each side — the old-school way, just like how we do it back home.
My hair has been through SO much — heat, rushing, products, stress — and honestly? I’ve lost patience with it so many times. But today we took it slow: parted right down the middle, braided steady, under and over, no snatching, no rushing. Just me, my fingers, and a little love.
It’s not perfect, but it’s mine — and it feels so good 💛
What I did:
