When Jesus said to deny yourself, He never meant hating yourself or punishing yourself. If you are exhausted from carrying a quiet mental checklist of your failures and being harsh with your soul, discover what Jesus really meant in Matthew 16 through the story of Peter.

In this study, we look at why self-denial is not self-hatred, why spiritual harshness still keeps you in the judge's seat, and how to finally close the ledger and follow behind Christ in true biblical peace.

Key Scriptures:
Matthew 16:21–26 (Take up your cross and follow Me)
1 Corinthians 4:3–4 (Stepping down from the judge's seat)
Colossians 2:20–23 (The futility of self-imposed harshness)
