Your FR7 Remake uploads have become the highlights of my week. It is so awesome seeing you click with the battle system - no easy feat! And your growing attachment to the characters is wonderful. Excited to be on this journey with you!

She believed she could get those materias and she did it.😃👍

I really like how she pays attention to the mechanics and checks stuff out. It's the little things that show the person playing the game is actually enjoying it.

Up in the middle night on my off day. I can't sleep. Happy to enjoy this right now.

It was so good to see Shay find a good use for the usually underappreciated grenades - dropping them at the feet of those really irritating riot troopers!😆

You're certainly getting the hang of combat. By the way, blue materia, such as Elemental, are support materia that must be paired in linked (connected) materia slots. Elemental materia pairs with elemental magic such as Fire, Ice, Lightning, and Wind. If you pair it in your weapon, it adds elemental damage to your weapon. If you pair it in armor, you gain resistance to the paired element. You'll know when a blue materia is paired correctly when you see a white light around the paired materia when equipping. Hope that helps!

I've started so many FF7R playthroughs, only to drop out after a few episodes when the creator doesn't really "get" the game and are seemingly only doing it cos they have to. Not the case with your playthrough. Your enthusiasm is infectious and your curiosity and willingness to find out more lore is engaging to watch. I've loved this game world since 1997 and I'm so glad you're discovering it's wonders! Video duly hyped🎉

5:48 The reason the Lightning Materia had the [T] icon (aka Tifa) is because you set that Materia on one of her other weapons. The Materia set for each weapon is saved when nobody else is equipped with it. It's one of those qualities of life things that makes managing Materia a little less tedious.

Refreshing to see another's genuine enthusiasm and engagement with the characters of this world and story. It is incredible storytelling and you've only just tasted a small part of it!
Believe it or not, the final scene shown in this video is one of my favorite scenes from the game just because of how well they transferred it from the OG FFVII and the next chapter (Chapter 8) is probably my favorite chapter.
