🇨🇿 Welcome to Prague! 🏰
Here's the start of our new video series about our spectacular vacation in the Golden City. We set off bright and early – with a comfortable direct train connection from Leipzig to Prague. Arriving right on time, we headed straight to the hotel, where we were fortunate enough to be able to check into our room immediately.

🏨 Our hotel recommendation: The Verdi Hotel
The Verdi Hotel is simply beautiful – even after the change of ownership! Since we've stayed here many times before, we'll be releasing a separate, detailed video about it. The absolute highlight: The hotel has a whopping 24 floors! The view of the city from the top is especially breathtaking in the evening.

🚇 Exploring the Old Town
After checking in, we took the metro directly to the city center. Prague is wonderful to explore on foot, but of course, there are also plenty of buses and trams. On our first day, we ticked off an incredible number of sights:

• The vibrant Wenceslas Square 🏙️
• The historic Old Town with its Market Square 🏛️
• The impressive "Butterflies" (fighter jets) by artist David Černý 🦋✈️
• The fascinating Kafka Monument 👥
• The quirky, floating figures with umbrellas ☂️
• The famous Dancing House 💃🕺
• And of course, the legendary Charles Bridge is a must-see on any visit to Prague! 🌉

🍕 Street food & the best insider tip for goulash! 🍲 In between sightseeing, we enjoyed delicious street food like pizza, and a scrumptious trdelník (chimney cake) was a must-have sweet snack. After so many impressions, we were ravenous for traditional goulash in the evening. Here's my absolute insider tip in the video: I'll show you where to get the best and cheapest goulash in all of Prague! It costs just 185 Czech crowns (about €7.59) – an unbeatable price for Prague, especially in the city center!

📦 Mystery Shopping & Evening Relaxation
Before heading back to our room, we visited the shopping center right next to the hotel. There, we snagged a surprise package for the equivalent of just €5 during our "mystery shopping" session. What was inside? Find out in the video! We then spent a relaxing evening enjoying the breathtaking view of Prague at night. 🌌
