Castlevania Adventure ReBirth (WiiWare) - Full Playthrough (Normal+Classic). Played by ArekTheAbsolute. Japanese version of the game (Dracula Densetsu ReBirth). In "Classic" mode you can't control the direction of your jump (like in old classic Castlevania), so it's much harder to play.

7:50... That staircase makes no sense to me.

It's such a shame this only came out on Wiiware, they should release the whole set (Castlevania, Gradius and Contra Rebirth) for Steam and/or the other consoles or even 3DS sometime. They were all fantastic.

At least Christopher Belmont is moving with a purpose in this version!

Lord how I detest the absence of physical copies of games. Such a shame the industry has been steadily moving this way. This game would have looked beautiful with a shiny box and a beautifully illustrated instruction book in its place on the shelf among its older siblings.

Its the thrill of seeing stuff like at 18:00 that is the reason that I prefer videos like this to speedruns. In a speedrun, I already know that the player is going to do everything near perfectly. But here, there are times that unexpected things happen, and I can feel the pressure and adrenalin that must have been going through the player at the time.

Wow beautiful visuals and sound as always with Castlevania. I wish they would go back to making 2d sprite based games. they had a charm and uniqueness that 3d games lack. I like 3d games too, but I still go back to old 2d games often. imagine what could be done with todays technology if they made a new 2d symphony of the night style game.

Like playing a Sega Genesis versiom of Castlevania on the NES.
Nicely crafted and sounds, music is familiar.
Shame that it was on Wiiware, the most ill forgotten sectiom that the Wii had

What I think is purely criminal is the fact they made the Battle of the Holy track for this and decided to go with Reincarnated Soul instead for the first stage. It's okay, but Battle of the Holy fits so much better.

I like seeing normal people play who are just good at the game, like this dude.

This should have been the theme for the first level. Castlevania The Adventure Rebirth: Battle Of The Holy (UNUSED)
