i like the look of the salt print best just has a nice look to it.

I like how the table top grabs my attention through the fence in the second kallitype, and the tone of the tone of the ferro-blend.

The second kallitype is my preference. would be interested to see a carbon from that negative as well.

I’ve photographed a beautiful local library here that was built in the 20’s three times lately on 8x10 X-ray. I am still not completely satisfied with the results. You have inspired me to keep trying until I get results that I am looking for. Thanks for sharing another interesting video!

Ferroblend shot for me, other then the contrast is a bit less then I'd like.

The second kallitype is my favorite of all of them.
But I do really like the ferrotype print. I think the toning works well for this scene. I just think the shadows need to be a little darker. I would be interested to see a ferrotype made with the second negative.

Like that. It is really an unconventional, bold composition, behind the barbed wire to achieve a new perspective. I know that motto in Japanese (meaning GENIUS - you the genius - daring that perspective) is an understatement. Nice.

The blue base of this negative need some kind of compensation to be printable or it doen’t matter for these processes?

AgNO3 - hardly dangerous on your hands. I practice wetplate collodion so am used to it staining my hands. The worst of the staining is gone within a few days to 2 weeks depending on how much you get on your hands and how fast you replace the skin.

Between 14:15 - 14:30 in 15 seconds you have just casually compressed 3-4 hours of work, not counting the preparation. And I'm watching this video and thinking why am I so lazy to develop 3 rolls of ECN-2 from my summer holiday...? I should learn some work ethics :)
