Whoever designed those tattoos to be staring at each other during the opening charge clash is the very soul of their art.

Hearing Kiryu, who normally doesn't care about sanctimonious things, say "There can only be one dragon." Is what gave me goosebumps

@darknesswave100 5 years ago

Its funny how Kiryu tells him he can "keep the cute nickname" when Shibusawa calls himself the dragon of Dojima. Little did he know that's what people would call him for the rest of his life

I need to learn how to grab my suit jacket by one shoulder and remove it clean in 1.1 seconds

Me fighting Shibusawa: "It's okay, just imagine him without his shirt."
Shibusawa: Takes off shirt
Me: "OH GOD HE'S BUFF"

The design on Shibusawa's back is a dragon called Seiryu, which protects the east. In other words, it has the meaning of governing Tojo-clan by itself. and the dragon depicted on Kiryu's back is a legendary Chinese dragon that caused a storm in the army that once confronted the Emperor.

If Sega made a sculputure of Kiryu and Shibusawa tackling shoulders, I'd buy all the stock.

Shibusawa never expected the shotgun in my run

"Dojima said it's my turn to be the dragon!"

The tattoo symbolism is sublime. The two dragon tattoos stare into each other. Shibusawa, a ruthless officer in the Yakuza, has a complete dragon tattoo. Kiryu, the up-and-coming true Dragon of Dojima, only has an unfilled outline. The eyes don't even have pupils.
The tattoos themselves are gorgeously rendered and designed. What an awesome game.

R.I.P to me and my homies who didnt unlock dragon of dojima or even knew it existed

“Haha, dragon of dojima, that’s a pretty stupid nickname” ~Me on my first playthrough before playing the whole series

“I am the dragon of dojima”

“Shit, boss music”

I love that lead-in to the full boss theme. It made the scene more epic! Yakuza 0 was such an awesome game!

Just finished yakuza 0 yesterday and I've gotta say... As someone that bought the game after baka mitai meme I enjoyed this masterpiece

I don't think at the beginning someone could think we'd have to beat his ass since he would become a final boss. I thought by all cliche moves it had to be Kuze. And that's what made it even more thrilling.
