Hello everyone! With the arrival of spring, I'm back on the road, and our first stop is Thessaloniki, the birthplace of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and also the city where my mother's roots lie. In this video, we visit Atatürk's house, experiencing very emotional moments, and get lost in the history-filled streets of Thessaloniki, reminiscent of Athens.
We have breakfast with the famous Bugatsa pastry, traditionally made by hand and filled with plenty of cream. Afterwards, we visit the White Tower, a symbol of the city, and hop on the number 50 cultural bus to the historic Ano Poli district in the upper part of the city. We explore the Bey Hamam and Rotunda, bearing traces of Ottoman and Roman architecture, and the historic Kapani Bazaar with its labyrinthine streets. Of course, we didn't forget to go down to Aristotle Square, touch the finger of the famous philosopher to wish for good luck, and drink Frappe, the national drink that was accidentally discovered in this city in 1957, right in its hometown!
In the evening, we enjoy delicious Greek flavors at meze shops, accompanied by sea bream without anise. I hope you enjoy this video where I explore the streets of Thessaloniki, sharing my selection of things to see and taste. Please don't forget to like the video, comment, share it with your friends who might be interested (hype it up!), and subscribe to my channel and turn on the notification bell for new adventures! Enjoy watching, let's go traveling! #thessaloniki #trip #travel
