Islands. The reason for being the very best was not the tiny town itself but the welcome we received. The locals were thrilled we spent the day there. They provided young people as guides at every intersection each holding a giant lollipop paddle saying “ask me”. The town provided a list of activities available for every half hour during our day in port. And it certainly was the safest place I’ve been to. Their police station is only open one day a week and that’s for checking visas and passports. They actually have a zero crime rate!
