So original Medicare and Medicaid is better... I had a similar situation when I tried to do a dual plan. I fell and fractured my back after just changing over to one of the duels. Come to find out the doctor that I normally see for my pain management was not covered!😮 I was not happy! I was in so much pain! I immediately called Medicare and told them to switch me back to my original Medicare! I'm not playing games when it comes to my doctors!

Works for me, as I am retired overseas with 0 cost obligations in the US. I have my own international insurance while living abroad at $130 a month with cancer policy coverage.

I don’t know about what specific version of advantage you are commenting on, but my plan practically buries me in paper, and is premium free, Rx w/o copays etc. I can’t imagine what they haven’t told me!

I'm on traditional A/B plus a G plan, costing me $140/month. NFW I'd go with an Advantage plan - TONS of pitfalls.

It is highly recommended you work with an ethical Medicare Broker. Only with a proper fact finding assessment could a Broker offer you the best options for you health, and financial needs. This video is well informed but there are many variables that aren't discussed in this video. The client-broker relationship is vital to making Medicare less stressful to the beneficiary. You'll be surprised how much time I spend helping my clients navigate the fragmented system of health care. Whether it is Original Medicare, Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage, ACA, Group Health Plans etc..... it's all a fragmented mess.

At the 16:15 mark, it seems like you mean to say Medicare Supplement plan, but you actually say Medicare Advantage plan. Or am I not understanding correctly? Thanks.

the network's doctor failing to give what is needed for prior authorization is the network's doctor. I fail to see how fault of network doctor is not fault of the network.

How do you propose a person acquire a comprehensive, updated list of available in-network pcp's? I almost never got a catalog or listing of pcp's and I'm already a member in Aetna. And when I got it, it stated the exact opposite of what the agent told me on the phone when I called to ask why I received a bill for a copay.
