Sometimes she just wakes up and hates everything

No entry for elder abuse for locking the butler in the fridge and then using him for target practice

Lara: causes the end of the world

All of us: she's awesome man!

I thought I had imagined the part where reboot-Lara killed a guy in self defense, then went from nerd-girl to stealth-assassin within a second.

As a former archaeology student, I'd just like to point out that dinosaurs have nothing to do with archaeology. You're thinking of palaeontology, which is part of geology. Archaeology is strictly human. This is the first time I've used my archaeology degree in 20 years.

Also, great vid, as always!

I like how in the tomb raider universe(1-6) aliens, demons and other supernatural creatures exist.

You forgot to mention that she grabbed the amulet of Horus in TR IV and awoke Seth. That caused a lot of problems and deaths 🙆‍♂️

she just destroyed a lot of things but I still love her 😂

Well, I mean, "Tomb Raider" is a slightly-more polite way of saying "grave robber".

So... Yeah.

No mention of releasing an ancient god of destruction out of curiosity and greed?
Seth?!?!

A lot of those offenses are directly linked to "ludonarrative dissonance", a concept popularized by the Uncharted series and its hero Nathan Drake, who is also a sensitive do-gooder in the cutscenes, yet murders a lot of people as part of the gameplay.

You forgot Lara releasing Set in Egypt.
Also in breaking into the museum, the guards carry handguns which are prohibited to UK civilians and justified probably being under Sophia's payroll.
Many Japanese police do carry guns. At least the .38 service revolvers.

10) She wanted to get on to the stairs. The rocket was in the way 😆
9) The bedroom furniture won't make itself will it? She has to put something.
8) big deal, she wanted a knife to cut some fruit down at the bar. Relax.
7) she wanted to go for a walk. They wanted to stop her. As for the key, it was shinny man!
6) She was homeless ffs. How did you expect her to buy a ticket to see the ancient magufins inside?
5) Umm that's easy. Bottomless bag! Hermione made it cool in Harry Potter too. As for the others not carrying weapons, how is it her fault?
4) the girl has mental issues to begin with. She calls herself Lara croft?
3) in Lara's defense, they always attack her for some reason, even though they don't usually attack humans in real life. They seem vereeery keen on Lara though.. for some reason.
2) Heey. Natla wanted the beautiful round shinny Scion!
1) Again, they attacked her to begin with. And unlike the cats above, dinosaurs were very dangerous animals who attack humans on sight. You saw what happened to Jurassic park!

On the note of "killing endangered animals," the first cutscene of the original game has a magazine cover saying "Lara Stamps Out Bigfoot." The anniversary remake softens this to "Lara Bags Bigfoot," so at least there she didn't kill the last Bigfoot on Earth.

Thanks for having me on! This was a blast 😁

Me: I wonder why tigers are so few in numbers...
Lara: Mah boy, our family has been shooting them for no reason all over the world for three generations

And yet, we still love her.

Tomb raiding is illegal in real life so she’s bad in a core if you think about it

"Top ten worst things Laura Croft has done. Number 10: Storming Area 51." Oh fuck; the sky's the limit with this one.

just the mention of Lud's gate gave me terrible flashbacks and anxiety.
