Mike Leach without question is the greatest TTU coach of all time

2016 western michigan went 13-1 and played wisconsin in a bowl game

The Crabtree catch becomes more crazy when you remember a texas player let a pick go straight through their hands 2 plays before

2014 Mississippi State deserves a mention. As a fan, I remember the run where we beat ranked LSU (in Baton Rouge), beat ranked Texas A&M to get Gameday at the Junction for the first time, and then beat #2 Auburn to become AP ranked #1 for the first time in school history. A few weeks later we were bestowed the honor and all time trivia question of the first #1 ranked by the CFP committee.

I am a simple man. I see a Gophers thumbnail, I click.

Go Gophers!

Minnesota still has more national titles historically speaking then a lot of teams

Texas Tech alum here.  Yes, Mike Leach was the best coach in program history.  He was not only the winningest coach in program history, he made Tech relevant.  During his tenure from 2000 to 2009, Texas Tech was the only program in the Big 12 that was bowl eligible every season.  Not Texas, not Oklahoma.  He is the only coach in program history to have beaten in-state rivals Texas and Texas A&M in the same season twice (2002 and 2008).  Leach's teams actually had a 7-3 record against the Aggies.  After all that, he was fired the next season in a BS political move by AD Gerald Myers and Chancellor Kent Hance.

It would’ve taken 30 seconds of research to see that Minnesota isn’t historically bad lol

I must first admit that I am a Northwestern University alumnus since I graduated from NU in 1990.

The 1995 Northwestern Wildcats football team defines "From where did they come"? Analysts only wondered one thing about NU prior to the season which was, "Will Northwestern not finish 11th in the Big Ten?" (The Big Ten had 11 teams after Penn State joined.)

The season started with a trip to South Bend to play Notre Dame on September 2nd. The previous year, Beano Cook predicted Ron Powlus, Notre Dame's QB, would win multiple Heisman trophies. NU was a 4-touchdown underdog by Las Vegas oddsmakers. Yet, at the end of the game, NU won 17-15 which denied Lou Holtz his 200th victory as a college football head coach. Afterwards, ESPN sportscasters debated how much of an upset was this (most referred to it in the same vein as Buster Douglas beating Mike Tyson). Sports Illustrated debated if Notre Dame was a team on the decline.

NU lost two weeks later to Miami University (more commonly known as Miami of Ohio).

After the loss, NU beat Army and Indiana.

Then, Northwestern went to play at Michigan. Their starter, Scott Driesbach, was injured so Brian Griese started. Northwestern held Griese to 10 of 34 passing for 96 yards and 2 INT's while winning 19-13. That victory put NU at 14th in the polls.

NU played at Minnesota and Jim Wacker, Minnesota's head coach, argued that Minnesota would win and demanded that they would be ranked afterwards, NU won 27-17.

The following week, NU played Wisconsin at home on a cold, windy day. Wisconsin had 7 turnovers and NU won 35-0. The entire defense collectively won Big Ten Defensive Player of the week.

Northwestern then played at Illinois and won a close game 17-14.

The next week NU played at home against Penn State. ABC with Keith Jackson and Bob Griese broadcast the game nationally. NU had to arrange for temporary lights since Ryan Field did not have lights. Behind 3 touchdowns from RB Darnell Autry, NU won 21-10.

After that game, NU played Iowa at home. Since NU had not been Iowa in the last 21 games, Hawkeye coach Hayden Fry blustered, "They have to prove it to me." NU won 31-20, but suffered a big loss when ILB Pat Fitzgerald (future NU head coach) broke his leg, Fitzgerald would win the Chuck Bednarik and Bronco Nagurski awards for Defensive MVP both in 1995 and 1996. Also, ESPN had College Gameday at Evanston but held it inside McGaw Hall, next to Ryan Field, due to stormy conditions.

NU had its final regular season game at Purdue. NU won 23-8, and NU students chanted, "Big Ten Champions" as the game ended. Purdue fans even joined in the chant.

The final game for NU ended the week before Thanksgiving. However, NU needed Michigan to beat Ohio State Thanksgiving Saturday to make the Rose Bowl. Michigan won 31-23 so NU went to Pasadena.

8:25 I’m a Wake fan and even I didn’t click on this video for Wake.

The childhood memory was the best part of the video and why I subbed.

I respect the take honesty. I love nascar, and the smells, sounds, and usually sights are mesmerizing even if you don't really know what is going on. I do definitely think that there are better tracks out there, but that shouldn't discredit what you experienced.

Another team no one talks about is 2006 Rutgers. Rebirth at the birthplace goes hard

Not including 1998 undefeated Tulane is a crime

I see several mentions of Kansas in 2007 and rightfully so. But let’s not forget about the 2007 Hawaii Rainbow Warriors

2021 ACC championship game feels like a fever dream

If Wake Forest would’ve held on to that game against North Carolina, then they would’ve had possibly an outside chance of making the playoffs that year. That loss against Clemson sealed any little chance of them making it in although Cincinnati that year still would’ve possibly made it over them. I definitely remember that 2019 Minnesota squad as well, I thought for sure that win against Penn State was going to fuel them for the rest of the season but sadly that Iowa loss really messed things up for them, then Wisconsin was the nail in the coffin.

I remember watching that Texas Vs Texas Tech game on Halloween night. One of the best games I’ve ever watched.

2020 Indiana ranked #7 and they have the worst P5 all time win % & 2007 USF was ranked #2 mid season

Seeing tech these last years,it’s so good to see them in their shining glory
