As a former thoroughly depressed teen this release made me cry more than GND, its just soo... raw. Like i feel seen, my SOTY for sure

I feel like tripleS really capture the experience of girlhood and being a teenager/young adult in all their releases

the moment when kaede changes Xinyu's words "the truth is that i'm happier and beautiful more than anyone else" just kills😭

In fact, Western viewers might perceive the scene at 3:08—gathering around a fire—as something irrational, like summoning demons. But in Korea, acts like lighting a fire and dancing around it are actually well-known traditional rituals meant to ward off evil spirits or Bad luck, quite the opposite of Western interpretations. There are famous traditional Korean dances like Jwibulnori and Ganggangsullae that reflect this.

TripleS is a group that deeply incorporates Korean elements into their work, and I believe this music video perfectly captures the concept of ‘I want to die, but I also want to live.’ The girls constantly try to shake off anxiety, gather together, and dance around the fire as a form of recovery—hoping for a comeback even amidst deep suffering, embracing each other through the pain. The final scene, where dandelion seeds are sealed in plastic and eventually swallowed, is a strong metaphor for death and rebirth, connecting beautifully to the themes from GND to Rising.

“The truth is, im happier more than u could ever know”

4:59  fun fact: i actually think the reason the girl pulled the other one out of the water is bc the girl was tryna drown herself (aka commit su***de) possibly from deppression or smth else soo… basically, a girl saved another ones life bc she didnt want her to die. Thats deep-

the director of photography of this MV definitely paid attention in class when they were covering centering and framing shots using background objects to create depth. You can pause on any scene in this MV and it's perfectly framed and all the stuff happening not in the center is forcing your eyes to go to the center.....it's a beautifully shot video. Kind of nice to see a video that doesn't rely so much on CGI

The video has throwbacks to GND, Badge Wars, previous signals.....pretty nice tightrope walk to make an MV that is both meaningful to super fans but also has general widescale appeal.

Fun little tidbit that might be purely coincidental....the la la la section.....they sing la 24x again

This feels like a prequel to Girls Never Die

Are You Alive? is when they chose to die, Girls Never Die is their second life after death

Man I love TripleS. Their music is so captivating. Assemble 25 is an amazing album.

Definetly a great sequel of GND.
Also I just love how they keep touching on topics that really really are hitting home for me. It's just the way they do it, they really give you strenght, that's also why the Dandelion is a big part of this MV, the flower represents strenght, hope, and trust. So I love how they used it. (even tho I'm allergic to it lol)

5:06 The 2 girls are Yubin and Hayeon!

You can view the choreo since even before the mv was released tripleS performed it at KCON!

The song. The cinematography. The storyline. Love them so much
Also Ppotos sighting

3:38 yes eerie witchy energy. I was thinking their songs would be great as Madoka Magica soundtrack

TripleS is amazing and I'm really liking the sound engineering and styling That Highlights every single detail of the members individual voices and range as a whole vocalist and artist

This song and the whole ASSEMBLE25 album is the PERFECT sequel/follow up to GND and A24… man it’s just so good - AND WE GOT XINYU / KAEDE CHORUS… AND THE JIYEON / MAYU BRIDGE FJDKSLSLA the vocals are vocaling 😭 the members are getting crazier with each come back I’m definitely NOT Alive. This makes me emotional
