WELCOME TO JM FISHING ENJOY!!
🎣 KAREN YELLED AT US?! Fishing Victoria’s “Most Illegal” Lake 😳

We headed out to one of the most controversial fishing spots in Victoria… and things got crazy fast.

While we were filming, a local “Karen” came over yelling about HUGE fines, rangers, and how this lake is strictly off-limits. 😬 Are the fines really that big? Is it actually illegal to fish here? Or is it just overhyped?

In this video:
• We show what happened when she confronted us
• Talk about the real fishing rules in Victoria
• Explain the fines you can get if you ignore the signs
• And why knowing the regulations actually matters

Always check local rules before fishing — fines in Victoria can be massive and gear can even be confiscated. Not worth it.

Drop a comment if you’ve ever had a crazy encounter while fishing 👀

I live in Queensland, but this stalker makes me want to fly to Melbourne just to fish that spot.

Looks like a nice spot for a fish 🐟🐟

People like her did the same in West Lakes SA.
Attacked the kids fishing, Broke rods etc
Media and Recfish got hold of it and held a fishing comp a few weeks later
100s turned up

Google it you will see

Put up a sign sayIng 'NO KARENS'.🤣

Those ones bite well on cake, size limit is no issue 😅

If it is an actual, legal 'no fishing sign' in Melbourne, it will have no fishing, and fisheries act and usually the department etc, that put it there . These dont look like state government, legally applicable signs.

This happened in a lake in Adelaide and on a particular day a large number of people turned up to fish

I don't know the laws there, but in the US you could have her arrested for harassing fishermen

I used to fish that lake as a kid in the 50s. It was full of carp and yabbies then. All the local kids did the same. There was a general refuse tip on the other side.

If she was a friend of lake Edwards, she would be happy that the invasive fish were being removed to protect the native wildlife and water quality.

Gonna have to do a 3am session 🤫

Next time, tell her that when you do catch a fish. You usually just kill it and chuck it in the bin. (carp)...that'll send her off her head. hahahaha

I fished it 2 weeks ago and another Karen harassed me saying I was rude and carrying a knife .
Told her to mind her own business and to call the police if this bothered her.
Eventually she waddled off .
