as much as he says he's a nerdy loser and all, I commend his parents for inputing that much common sense into him and his own intelligence and awareness. Dude was more mature than most 15 year olds.

Actually it's a good thing to step down from a relationship when you realize it's toxic or it's not for you. It might look selfish to some people but staying in an unhealthy or uncomfortable relationship will ruin you more than you can imagine so good job ruze! Wish you the best bro!

I said it during stream and I’ll say it again: folks, nothing is sexier than consent. If you’re not sure what level of physical contact your partner is cool with, don’t just go full blast with what you want to do. That ain’t cool.

As much as "breaking up over the phone is bad" yea whatever, but holy fuck good call Ruze.... that's an adventure and a half and I could agree I'd be scared af in that situation too ngl... Specially with the mum being like "yea whatever" vibe

"She did have, like, a kid right before leaving high school."
He didn't dodge a bullet there, he dodged a bazooka.

that part about distancing yourself from your friend group bc the person you broke off with was in that inner circle too fucking sucks🥲

That mother's behavior is CRAZY

That scary and uncomfortable though omg:face-turquoise-covering-eyes:

9:50  WAIT that means they were like 15/16 😵‍💫

That mom and daughter were on some WEIRD SHIT, like my god.

Nightmare nightmare nightmare nightmare.

If I was still a teenager who knew nothing about the world except what the media and hopeless romantic people feeds me, I would think Ruze is a douchebag who just used the girl and just broke up over the phone. Now that I'm older, I realized teenagers are still young and Ruze being scared of the situation and just wanted to do nerdy stuff and had to get out of the relationship however he can, is a totally valid reaction and it doesn't make him a douchebag.

I've only finished a few good streams from Ruze  and I'm lucky to have heard this live. Man, this story just made me respect Ruze even more, like, my respect shot up from 50 to 100 real quick. This man definitely has some based principles in life just basing on the few stories I've heard from him. I wouldn't mind hearing him talk for hours about his beliefs and philosophies even without any activities. Glad I got into armis because of Jurard's loud and silly clips and Tavi's wonderful covers, but he's the first vtuber I've actually paid the membership for, for the first time (followed by Tavi and Bettel lol).

“See Mom, my obsession with WoW actually saved my life! Would you rather have me in my room playing all weekend or me being stuck raising a kid? Checkmate!”

Damn, full respect to Ruze, guy handled the whole thing like a Chad.

the mom and daughter= red flags.

😭 Poor baby just wanted to be a nerd. Let our boy live.

37 or older? oh sweet I'm 38!

Bro had his own Hidenori x Literature Girl moment in Daily Lives of High School Boys. lmaooo

To anyone thinking of pulling the good intentions card with the girl: if your partner knowingly makes you feel scared, you should leave. If your partner knows you're not consenting and never confronts it, you should leave. If you have to get a third party in order to find a valid reason to get out, you should leave. THE BOTTOM LINE is that Ruze felt uncomfortable, and he didn't feel he could voice it to her unless they weren't physically in the same room. He literally stayed away from his own friends because she was in such a state, for half a year, instead of being able to talk it out. That says more than enough. Glad he made the right call.
