Ok I actually watched the vid to the end now, and I'm so sorry you had that experience, Kenny. Your initial reaction to that was completely reasonable and most people would not have handled it as well. Unfortunately it only takes one person not doing their job properly to destroy how you view an entire entity, in this case a theme park. The abuse and misuse of power is a widespread problem with security guards and it's easy to see why. To be clear, obviously they are an essential part of theme park staff and I value them greatly. It's just that they basically play the part of a cop without the extensive psychological training that a police officer goes through. You get the wrong, or just simply inexperienced person in this position and it can create problems fast. I don't blame you for not wanting to go back for at least a while, but I hope that they put in effort to properly resolve the issue and make you feel welcome to come back again. In any case, keep being the dirty pervert you are 😂

Side note, you're one of the few vlogging channels I actually watch, and it's mainly due to your personality. There's not many vlog channels that have a snarky sense of humor out there and I think it's valuable. Keep it up bud. 💯👍

Kenny filming with and antique camera. Hershey Security: Hello, I'm Chris Hansen

I for one appreciate the old Sony shots and the classic zooming in on signs and such.

Sorry that happened, Kenny. From what I’ve seen, Hersheypark’s security usually takes their job seriously and tries to keep everyone safe, especially with how wild things have been this past year. I actually got stopped once while filming during Candy Lane because someone wasn’t sure what I was doing and reported it. The security guy was super respectful — we talked for a bit, I showed him my footage and my channel, and everything was fine.
I’ve always enjoyed your Hersheypark videos. If you end up coming back for Dark Nights, I’d love to hang with you sometime.

Bro, I don't blame you at all for how you feel. That sounds absolutely humiliating and as if they're trying to imply something gross about what you're doing there... I think if you like the park, and you do want to have a good experience again there, I would talk to security and customer service and see if maybe you could show them your channel and that you're cool and maybe offer you an apology. If not then just cross them off the list for good if you don't feel comfortable going back.

I had a similar experience in McDonald's funnily enough. I used to go places to work on my laptop and drink an iced coffee or something for few hours. Welll this rude manager lady came up to me one day and said I wasn't allowed to stay in the dining room past a certain point and basically told me to shove off... That really put me off going to McDonald's after that and especially that McDonald's, so I know how you feel.

I really wish these companies knew that it was bad for business to treat customers this way. It's better to have a lighter hand and let customers do what they want unless they're causing a real disturbance.

It’s ironic that Hershey cares so much about their guests’ privacy when they just allowed Flock to install like 8 of their cameras around the park’s perimeter🤔

Good to know. I like taking pictures and videos of rides too, and the last thing I want is a police academy flunkie making me look like I belong on a registry in front of families.

I remember when you could go to parks in PA and not have to worry about "teen" takeovers. I'm assuming after the last takeovers at Hershey they had to implement special rules cause when you can't actually punish the people that do it, than punish everyone.

I would dip out after that experience. Broadcast TV is done, so vlogs and parks are symbiotic marketing that need each other. But if they have a security directive to call out suspicions in a public space, I'd pick another locations for your video work.

You're in the right for how you reacted. Yes the danger of random people filming kids is real, but the security was very unprofessional about it (like you said). I wouldn't go back either after that experience.

As I understand it filming people in public while not illegal runs the risk of stealing their soul. smh

Hershey park has some great rides but the outside problems like being overcrowded all the time, the enormous wait times, the amount of line cutters you encounter, trash all over the park and the large number of guest who don't know how to conduct themselves , our family have no desire to return anytime soon.

Sorry to hear about your Hershey park ban

"Did that ride get faster or did I just get slower?" One of my favorite quotes of all time lmao

Imagine if they did the same thing to you towards Disney vloggers. 99% of them would be banned for life.

I completely agree, that security guard was very unprofessional, disrupted the day for many bystanders and (maybe hyperbolically) put you at risk - all it takes is one jabrony to take that accusation as proof of someone being dangerous and could have started some kind of altercation. I hope whatever conversation you had gets that security guard pulled up on procedure even if you don't choose to go back

Shhhh my show is on

We live about an hour from Hershey Park and I haven't been there in DECADES. We much prefer Knoebel's. We can't go on any rides due to physical medical issues, but you don't have to pay to get in, so we just love going to walk around for an afternoon and get food, check out the sights and sounds. It's very relaxing!

Sorry that happened to you. That security guard definitely did not handle that in an appropriate way. I love your vlogs though, your humor and filming style is completely different than any other theme park channel I’ve seen on YouTube and I love it! And I really love these theme park/ amusement park vlogs! Please keep making more!
