Hello Jorbs my fickle brain has no idea how to interpret the information on spirebird. Things like WAR and BT elo and CR elo are things that sadly I cannot comprehend. While I have no right to ask this, would it be possible to create one of your famous 3 hour google slides on how to interpret the information on the website. Unless you have already made the video in which case I retract my request. I have been trying to use google and my dad to explain the information to me but the latter tells me to use the former and the former tells me to watch videos that I don't understand because they don't have 30 minute long tangents on each slide. Therefore, my request. Thank you

What’s neat is that the original WAR metric didn’t compare against the average player but somebody worse (I think by 5 runs). Basically the equivalent of “how much better is this card than Pressure Points or STS1 Claw?”

In essence, bada bing bada bong.

We moved all the way across the country last year and it was stressful as hell. We were a bit nervous about going to somewhere so different and chose to rent out our old place so we'd have a back-up plan if we just couldn't deal with real seasons. Finding a place 2000+ miles away, packing for a family of five, preparing the home to be rental ready was months of brutal effort. All-in-all though, the move was tremendously successful! Because the move was for work, we did have professional movers take our stuff, and since it would take a long time for the truck to get there we decided to get one of the family rooms for a 3 day Amtrak ride. Was a wonderful way to wind down after all that effort.

"What's WAR good for?"
Absolutely nothing!

Test subject, place!
zaps the shit out of him

i love the SV-style reinvention of the train bit

man, that scrape was lit

Never thought I would see Jorbs start his Republican arc on taxation.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you don't have to pick up glowater potion right? It clearly says skip on the bottom right so you can you know....just click skip.

It’s really hard to influence people’s behavior through financial incentives and tax breaks. Even if the intentions were pure and good, the actual implementation often leads to consequences that are quite different from what was hoped for. It’s just incredibly difficult. And that is all before you add short sighted thinking, lobbying, political agenda, interactions of new laws with old laws and other twists. Good luck out there.

Huh.
Re: car crashes, I wonder what people colloquially refer to as car crashes. Like, I've been a passenger for 2 low speed (like <5 mph) collisions, but if someone asked me if I'd been in a car crash I'd probably say no.

Edit: ah, that idea did come up, I just had to wait a few minutes

Do you think Boot Sequence and Anchor are friends or are they rivals?

36:00 You get the gains from the house value appreciating. What the fuck are you talking about? Just pay the damn tax and enjoy the shitload of money you made from owning the house and then selling the inflated house price.

Two tesla coils, do you take shadow shield? Seems like kind of a hard question -- shadow shield is really good, but it really messes up the whole "I do lightning things, that be the deck" vibe it has...

Timestamps for when Jorbs picks up the cards and relic in the thumbnail (Tesla Coil x2, Eternal Armor x2, and Bing Bong):

Tesla Coil #1: (1:02) (Floor 2 Combat)
Tesla Coil #2: (1:52) (Floor 4 Combat)
Bing Bong: (14:47) (Floor 20 Event)
Eternal Armor: (59:56) (Floor 46 Shop)

Not gonna lie when jorbs pulls up a Spirebird i completely zone out

58:11 Why didn’t it lose its artifact charges when hit by three go for the eyes?

Thank you for background talk on taxes and housing market, just when i was looking where to get a trigger for a depression episode

Long time fan, but your housing talk seemed tasteless. Washington state has zero income tax. How much has been saved on that alone, to then pay the housing sales tax. Good luck.
