Cool fact:  Nate himself was the actor that held the store cashier at gunpoint.

One person pointed out to me that the main character is stuck in a rut. She constantly talks about making a different choice, but she always makes the same one, even with her choice of candy. One thing is certain, she's going to need a new roommate, because her current one isn't going to want to stay with someone who got her boyfriend killed.

Hi Roselie. Ray here.

This is not just an NF Song, this is "AN NF Masterpiece"

From nornal Rap Songs with Emotional lerics, and Connections.. And now we get this.

NF turns out an amazing storyteller.. so curious in what will be next.

Waited for your reaction to this song for a little bit.. and its finally here❤.

Great reaction as always.

Much Love
Ray.

From what I understand, this really has nothing to do at all with the rest of his journey. This mixtape was really meant to show the world his diversity and to show that he's not just an angry depressed rapper. This album highlights his creativity and that he can do other things.

Great reaction. He said this was just a com experiment he and Tomee Profitt had in mind and that’s why it’s on the mixtape

This track is the definition of what an Artist is all about. Something new, different and memorable. There is no one like #NF out there! No one.

When its over and the slow strings come in... I'm always emotionally drained and crying by then.

One of the most riveting I’ve seen.

All the tracks on the “Mixtape” are just creative type of tracks.  Probably ones that didn’t fit on the Search or his latest album Hope.   You will find the classic connections on the Hope album with Nate’s personal story journey and other mental health thoughts.

Great reaction Rosalie! ✌️

Wow!!! I loved it! This is an NF song I've never heard before. With that said I come from a country music background where there's a lot of story telling and the music is a lot slower. When I listen to a new rap song idk how fast or slow the rapper's flow will be. So with that said in order for me to catch every word I pull up Spotify and read along with the song instead of focusing on the music video itself. So while listening to this song, reading along with the lyrics while trying to watch Rosalie's reaction the visuals that popped into my head when the robbery happened... 🤯 That was amazing! NF can write man! Insane!!!

First, I am keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Love and hugs from Texas
LOVE your reactions!! There is no correlation, just a story that he wrote (real life for lots of people!). There is a behind the scenes video on his channel. Glad you caught the plot twist!! Some people miss it because they're so engrossed in the video that they miss the lyrics.
This is a full length action movie packed into 5 minutes... truly a masterpiece.

He was getting a lot of press saying he wasn't a good story teller so the rumor is he wrote this to say I can tell a story lol

You finally did it!!!  I watched a lot of your reactions and loved your empathy and understanding of Nate's universe.  I was so waiting for you to do this.  Thank you!!!

I too went on the NF journey a few years ago. Now I’m along for Rosalie’s journey through NF. I really appreciate your ability to break down the tracks and connect everything. My brain doesn’t do that very well so you frequently mention things I overlooked. “Story” was my introduction to NF. Knowing the story line already made watching this a lot of fun because I was anticipating your reactions as it unfolded. It brought some extra enjoyment. He’s about due for a new album. Here’s to hoping it drops soon!

I’m pretty sure this whole song came about because everyone says NF is such a good story teller, and he said “hold my water”. I don’t know that it applies to his life, or the catalog at all. It’s just more of a “watch me REALLY tell a story.”

More NF. Appreciate the reactions. NF is a 🐐

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Your breakdown is so detailed, I love it!
You captured my love for his ability to embody each character with a different voice and cadence; it was my favourite part of the whole thing. You could tell that the first robber was playful, probably very young (from his mannerisms, joke about pulling the trigger, and the "anxious-child" tone of his "I dunno" when the second robber asked why this on the floor), and the actors all did a phenomenal job...
It's up there with HAPPY as one of my favourite non-big screen performances by actors

I love your passion mate. The direct opposite of begrudging daily grind NF is talking about in the beginning. Marking time every day and getting nowhere.

I love the change as well when the robbery happens. Nothing snaps you out of a fugue like an armed person losing their shit in close proximity. The adrenaline reminds you that you are alive. God Bless mate👊

Definitely should listen to more of his hope album songs too💯🔥
