I flew to Pakistan to run a marathon once run by Leonid Shvetsov and Alexey Sokolov. I just wanted to do a long run, but instead I found myself in the heart of Karachi, among slums, motorcycles, street food, and neighborhoods where even the locals don't go.

My plan was to be sporty. It turned out to be a real journey.
