Trilogy of Lights - STARLIGHT, SHINE, ARKADIA

I think this song is unique even for BABYMETAL. I believe this was only the 2nd time it was performed and mostly because fans voted for it before the 10 Budokan shows. It is hauntingly beautiful. 🤘🦊🤘

This song always shines like a jewel in my heart.

I forget you’re not like the rest of us and just inhaling everything Babymetal you can get your hands on. Yeah, this is their second best song ever. It’s a masterpiece in every way possible. It’s even more meaningful because they’ve only done it live twice. And only once was video recorded professionally.

This is the song that if you are ever at their live show and you hear this intro start to play, consider yourself one of the luckiest people who has ever lived.

I've been recommending this one from the beginning! So underrated 💫

It's from their second album "METAL RESISTANCE" and when it first came out (At least here in Canada) this track wasn't included so I discovered it later on YouTube and it became my favorite instantly. So glad you got around to it!

As others have mentioned, you've missed on some Black Babymetal tracks (Moa and Yui without Su)
"Onedari Daisakusen"

"GJ!"

"Sis Anger"

You're right - this is a perfect track and easily in my top 3 all time favorite BABYMETAL tracks - if not number 1. It's a 10 in every way and plainly just a masterpiece. The mixing is perfect, the pacing is excellent, the vocals are different and amazing, the song structure is killer, and the overall feel is just totally epic in the true sense of the word (and not the overblown way that word is so often used these days).

The very first time I heard this on their Metal Resistance album I was blown away, and I hit repeat on this song every time I play the album. It just has this ethereal feel that makes the hairs on my neck stand up every time I hear it.

FYI, this song was only available on the Western release version of Metal Resistance - the Japanese version got Syncopation instead. I dig Syncopation too, but in my opinion there is no contest which song is better - it is easily From Dusk Till Dawn.

Anyway, I have been singing the praises of this song for years and it is CRIMINALLY underrated by the BABYMETAL community in my opinion. People always make a big deal out of Syncopation but almost never mention this song. It also confounds me that people never seem to mention this song when others ask about BABYMETAL songs that are sung in English - From Dusk Till Dawn is sung completely in English.

Anyway, yeah...this track completely rules. I would kill to have this song performed on a Blu-Ray of one of concerts; but, so far it has only been released on Blu-Ray once that I'm aware of, and you had to be a fan club member to get it originally, and it was expensive even for fan club members. It's REALLY expensive on places like eBay now, so I guess I'll just have to wait until they finally perform it at another concert that goes on a home video release.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。Yes, this performance was shocking to everyone. This song has been performed only 3 times to date. A limited number of fans who were at Hollywood Palladium on June 16, 2017 had been privileged to experience this song for 4 years. So, on February 16, 2021, when the intro started, everyone at Budokan (including me) was firstly shocked and gradually god excited understanding what was going to happen. At the end of the song, however, everyone got confused with what he / she witnessed because it was too surprising and mesmerizing. On the following day (Feb.17), the audiences came to the venue expecting the setlist would remain the same and FDTD would be played again. Once this song started many of them (including me) just stared at the stage without moving as if they were trying to burn the performance into their retinas. Su-Metal did it perfectly. "In the end ! (or In the air!)" Divine voice. And Moa and Momoko did perfect choreo like angels smoothly dancing around the goddess. Oh! I actually saw and listened to it twice for sure, but still "was it real?" (Even after reconfirmed it in Blu-ray video)

If someone's very first BabyMetal reaction is Gimme Chocolate and the second reaction is From Dusk Till Dawn. He must be too surprised to comment on BabyMetal. 🦊

Few Reactors post the song: Iine(E ney), Gimme Chocolate lured me in but Iine made fall into the Foxhole!!!!! It might not become your favorite but it will surprise the hell out of you, my first time reaction was, " My body wasn't ready!!!"

During 2021 they performed 10 concerts at the Budokan to commemorate their first 10 years. 10 concerts and a CD with the 10 best songs.

They select those songs (for the CD) with voting on social media. Something funny happens when From Dusk Till Down "fights" Headbanger. Of course, everyone thought that Headbanger is going to win. But many fans made a move to get FDTD victory.
Babymetal says "cannot include FDTD on CD due to copyright issues" and finally Headbanger joins in to "10 BABYMETAL YEARS" album, LMAO.

Babymetal did not forget this. The song is appreciated by many fans, so they give us this beautiful rendition. This is my favorite presentation of the 10 BABYMETAL BUDOKAN and the best of all 2021.
