So the reason they couldn’t hang up at the radio station was because it was of the why it worked back then. The person who made the call was the one who payed for it and was there for the only one who could end it. This was going out of fashion in the 80s however in rural areas like Texas this was still the case. So even if she hung up they would still be connected to the call. This was often done in the 70s and 80s to hold lines hostage.

The movie is such an unexpectedly incredible sequel to the first movie! It's everything camp and disturbing, and so much fun. I'm so glad y'all watched this one!!

Part 2 is my favorite! What’s funny too is the dead body that they carry around is the body of the hitchhiker from the first movie, it’s got his little pouch around his neck. If you want more 80s savani gore you gotta check out the movie “Maniac” from 1980. Some of savini’s best work

I feel like Texas Chainsaw 2 is equivalent to Halloween 3. Both are treasured middle child movies in their franchise.

There’s some cool behind the scenes stuff about Choptop/Bill Moseley and how he got the part.

Also, an 80s slasher you’ve gotta check out is Sleepaway Camp

If you want more good 80s horror you should definitely check out Return of the Living Dead. It's sooooo good!

Such a wild sequel. The first TCM was lightening on a bottle. So Tobe Hooper went full camp, dark humor, and gore (from the legendary Tom Savini) This sequel could and should be a part of the TCM game! There’s already rumors of Chop Top joining Family in the game. Imagine a Radio Station map and a Texas Battle Land map! It’d be so awesome!

They only have the rights to the first movie for the game currently so that’s why it’s not a map yet.

Funny you mentioned that chop top reminded you of beetlejuice because micheal keaton was inspired by chop top for beetlejuice's personality

Bill Mosley is iconic in this (and damn fine in his old age now, too). “Music is my liiiifeeee” was sampled by UK 80s electronic group S Express for their track “Hey Music Lover”. Such a tune!
