Thanks Doc.  This was super helpful.  I just got an Echo yesterday and got the report back with all the data... (which of course I did not understand).  Then I just got a note back from my doc that basically said there was nothing to be concerned by... without providing any additional level of detail.  At least, now, having watched this... I can at least have a bit more intelligent discussion with my doc about the results and actually kinda sorta likely understand what he's talking about... thanks to watching your video.  Thanks again, doc.

My echo indicated a 7.2cm aorta at the root.   I flew back to the US & checked into emergency ward 2 days later.
I do the test annually now to follow the repairs done.

Good morning, I just came across your video.  So I had my echocardiogram. From what I'm reading and can understand for the most part my heart is functioning normally. The only thing that I can tell that's a little off is this. The left ventricular systolic function is low normal with LVEF of 50% (+/-5%) by visual assessment.
Left ventricular global longitudinal strain = -19.2%. LV strain is normal. This is also normal if I don't have symptoms. I get dizzy and lightheadedness,  and am extremely fatigued. I just don't understand why all these systems. I have been on the same medication for years. Nothing has changed. I'm waiting to hear from my doctor on Monday. Another option won't hurt. Thank you for listening and sharing.

@ChrisKellyMD My weimaraner has Torrential TVD that is congenital  and had open heart surgery 2019  by Dr Norton at CSU and his Tricuspid valve had 3 papillary and one additional papillary with several short chordal attachments to the parietal leaflet and complete tethering of the
septal leaflet to the septum.  His heart was remolded at birth already and he's been in afib since 2020 and is now since 10/24 in Biventricular heart failure :(. TY for your video it was very helpful.  his left sided HF is due to his chronic afib. surgery went down only to severe, but it has helped! he was cardio converted 12/19 took on second try but only lasted till 6/2020 due to his remolding
