Open house Chicago and their excellent, and long suffering host, Cortney Hall featured my place on the popular Sunday AM Sunday TV show that follows Meet the Press.  It was not the typical house tour, and we had some fun doing this segment.

It was a lot of work, I Spent my summer vacation getting the place “ready” for the shoot.  Big Shout out to Bob Lindsey (who has worked with me for 20 years on every crazy project) and put in a record 18 days in a row before the shoot.  And to Helen (ten years working at my place) who made the place look really shine.    I also enlisted my boys Ca$h and Charlie) and their friends to help.  It was a monumental task to remove clutter from 5 levels, finish the deck, the garden, the deck room, the theater and the top tower etc etc.   This version includes the YouTube shorts, made to promote the segment, a few edits and clarifications and a couple video clips and photos

The official YouTube version has over 50K views and a load of comments.   The Open House team did some great shooting and great editing, adding clips from my instagram and from film archives that really made the segment cool.  I had no idea that they were going to do that.  Where did they get the Vietnamese water puppet segment?   Want to close out on the “King of the west loop”  idea, was not my idea (it is catchy however),   I asked they not use It, as I knew I would get roasted for that one…
