No matter how many times I watch this, I always get goosebumps. Jade's versatility, vocal control, note changes and emotional delivery. Leigh's tone, skill, clarity and high note. the control, technique, powerful vocals and Perrie's final note. Everything about this performance is simply spectacular....❤👑🤩👏🏼
This is part 2 of the regular version of secret love song with Jason derulo which is more about a forbidden love but this version is more so talking about LGBT rights and how everyone deserves a love they don’t have to hide ! They are very big on letting people know this song is about that 🥰🥹🫶🏾
I love that Little Mix is a band that’s clear about each of their individual perspectives, but also their collective values they want to project to the world...It really reflects in their art. This song is a beautiful tribute to the lgbt+ 🏳️🌈 community! It’s an anthem that’s cherished by me and so many queer people I know
Re. Perrie (the blonde). It's funny you said you'd expect that power from an opera singer. There's a fun video of Perrie singing opera as a warm-up/messing around backstage. There's also a ridiculous video of Perrie at home during lockdown, doing a pitch-perfect cover of Celine Deon's All by Myself... in fluffy socks!
Jade (girl that sang 1st) has a solo album Thats Showbiz baby. She has made a visual album so u can see videos for every song, bar Natural at disaster, but there is a separate live version of that
Perrie (the blonde one) has a Christmas song, its called Christmas Magic and the volcals on that one are really good and the the music video is really cute, she filmed it at her house with her son in it
This song is incredible, and incredible difficult too, the girls shining. Perrie belting, Leigh-Anne angelical and strong, Jade sweet and powerful. I am a proud Mixer 🇧🇷💓
Little mix have got a Xmas song called one I’ve been missing but perrie the middle girl done a Xmas song last year has part of her solo career with whistle notes called Christmas magic
There is a version of this song with Jason derulo, which is more a long the line of an affair. But this version is supposed to be a tribute to the LGBT community, and is meant to be about a relationship that isn’t excepted by society, and how everyone deserves a love that shouldn’t have to be hidden. The lyrics it’s obvious your meant for me, every piece of you fits perfectly. Is supposed to be about an LGBT relationship that no matter how much they love each other or how right they are for each other, society will still not accept it and still say it’s wrong.
They’ve never performed it live, so there’s unfortunately no video of them singing it, but I think one of the songs that perfectly encapsulates what Little Mix brings to the table in terms of vocals, emotion, lyricism, character, and artistry is the song “Monster in Me” from their LM5 album.
