Today we have a documentary talking about one of the best Solo Queue players of all time in League of Legends. Not an OTP. Not APDO/DOPA. Someone who's gotten to a higher rank in solo queue than anyone else. A mid lane god of Europe and the pride of German League of Legends. This is the story of Forellenlord.

And then you have "Kerp", the player you will see at the 2nd spot throughout every screenshot here, the second best soloQ player and toplaner for Forellenlords team. Who played the game with a trackball mouse.

As a person who started playing league season 5, having documentaries like these about the history of the players and the game itself gives me a better appreciation for them. You're doing important work, Gbay!

Edit: Sheeeeesh thanks for the likes!

WORST TOP NA was Dyrus' S2 EUW account if I remember correctly. Nutty he had 2600 ELO playing on 100-120 ping lol

So that's where the 3k elo shockwave meme came from. I entered this game for the first time on season 3, so I had no idea. Thank you gbay for the history lesson.

He started playing league again like a year ago and is streaming it on twitch. Hes not the best anymore but still entertaining. (Dia1-master)

That 3k elo shockwave is an insanely proud moment for EU in general, it was magnificant

The 3k elo Shockwave is one of my favorite lol esports memorys. Especially since I am German as well

Oh god, you know it was a bad year when you feel uncomfortable seeing people hugging

Fuck me I'm getting old, I can say I was watching the 3000 ELO shockwave when it happened.

I recently ran into forrellenlord towards the end of season 10 he had 2k+ games still grinding. Sadly i was the only person in the game who knew of him. Appreciate the content you do so younger players can know of leagues early season legends.

"I don't have a girlfriend, but even if I did, she's second place to league." A real gamer.

Man I used to watch LoL religiously back in the early days, I remember the 3000 elo shockwave as I watched it live. Good times man, good times.

He was one of my favorite players in my first season following esports. That 0-2 comeback culminating in the 3k shockwave sold me on how hype esports could be. My favorite esports play hands down.

No fucking way lmao. A friend of mine sometimes plays with him still, I think he streams sometimes? Really cool doc though, didn't expect this one.

@joshuanavarrete1891 5 years ago

So in his climb to 3k he had a 61% winrate?!?!? Insane.

Oh my god, Araneae! That brings back memories, he was so lovable back in the day!

I remember there was one time he came in and kissed the casters in the cheek and one of them said "That gave me a chubby".
