Wow.  No softballs from the interviewer, no non-answers from the prime minister.  They don't make TV like this anymore.

So crazy that no matter how much time goes by, the world is upset at the one country defending itself, and not upset at the one attacking, and tells the one defending itself to “cease fire” while defending the attackers as if they are the injured party

It just blows my mind…

Every single word she said was wisely thought and thus mentioned. What an intelligent, brillant and honest woman. A true heroine, the world needs more leaders like her, especially women.

Great to see this with what is going on in the world

She was Jewish with many generations born in Ukraine, where there were some of the most anti-Semitic people in the world, Golda family immigrated to the US because they were tired of the pogroms or attacks from the Bolsheviks, she was 6 or 7 when arrived in New York and then moved to Milwaukee, she was a teacher and this is why her very American accent from that time. Golda spoke Yiddish as her mother tongue and eventually learned Hebrew, very smart woman.

I love the way she handles the interview 💪

This is the first time I've ever listened to her speak, and it was emotional to hear her words and then know the reality of what is going on today, more than 50 years later. Unfortunately, generations have continued to war against each other, but I will continue to pray for peace in Jerusalem and the Middle East.

Respect Golda such a clear and analytik thinking.A intelligent and brave woman. She was the best.❤❤❤❤

She commands more respect than most men in power. Brilliant tactician and diplomat.

They clearly did NOT see eye to eye and yet civil discourse happened. What a time to be alive.

It did not start today....you can literally broadcast this interview and slap on LIVE at the top right corner, and it would be valid

Spoke three languages fluently with no detectable accent. English, Yiddish and Hebrew. To be able to climb to the top of the Israeli political ladder is no easy feat. Read her autobiography and you'll be absolutely amazed at what she accomplished.

Wow. This was an excellent interview.  She made me see the past and current conflicts in the area in a different light.

So relevant for today, such an intelligent woman Golda Meir was.

Great role model. Amazing leader.

I love how she lights a cigarette at the end. 🙂

I just saw the film Golda and it brought me here. What a magnificent leader - an example for all countries.

What an interview!!!   She was very wise in her answers…no fear of being criticized… truth needs no defense.   Also the the questions asked were straightforward which it is hardly done nowadays because the media now has an agenda in mind and is not true journalism.
It would have been so great to have met her personally 😊

Die Frau war brilliant, sie hatte meinen höchsten Respekt. Ich wünschte da wären mehere von ihrer Sorte heute in den Regierungen

I love her composure and the strength of her faith and confidence in her cause!!
