Some people go to school and learn history meanwhile some go to school and learn His-story… deso de ting deh!!! Just like how they tripled the oil prices- Nixon and the Arabs and screw Jamaica… very interesting.. some peole need to read…
Too long the sufferers’ history has been filtered, packaged, softened, commercialised, and handed back to the people as mythology instead of truth.
Some speak with authority but never walked through the fire. Some narrate Back-O-Wall, West Kingston, prison repression, and Rastafari struggle from a distance, while those who actually lived it are treated as inconvenient witnesses.
Babylon has always depended on gatekeepers: men who control the microphone, control the narrative, control the platform, and decide which truths are safe enough for public consumption.
But the real history cannot remain buried forever.
The issue was never simply PNP versus JLP. The issue was always Babylon: colonial mentality, class oppression, state violence, media manipulation, economic exclusion, and the criminalisation of poor Black sufferers.
Governments changed. The system remained.
From Back-O-Wall to Death Row, from Coral Gardens to the Gun Court era, the same machinery kept consuming the poor while commentators turned living history into performance.
Now the witnesses are speaking back.
Not from textbooks. Not from mythology. But from lived experience.
JahBunny set fire to the gatekeeping system because truth cannot survive where memory is controlled by performance and political convenience.
The sufferers must reclaim their own history.
JahBunny set 🔥 to all Rasta Gatekeepers 2 D 🌍🤜🏿🖤🤛🏿
