Never have I seen a marathon video so accurately convey the gulf between where you think the finish line ought to be compared to where it actually is. It’s like false summit after false summit.

This has to be one of the greatest achievements since Zezima. The way you ran at the end like you’d accidentally skulled with 200m worth of gear. A true warrior. Your second best accomplishment behind only 99 slayer.

Oh J Mills that was bloody brilliant. Your commentary made a half hour video fly by and even though I knew your result I was still urging you along all the way. You even included me in the video (7:00). It was fun seeing the roads I know so well and that stretch up the “bastard hill” and along the river is on one of my regular routes. Well done again and look forward to more of your content.

If there is one thing I have learned from  these videos is that no matter how bad you feel you got to kick as hard as possible towards the finish line.
Almost got me into D Mills heart rate territory at the end of my last race 😂
