Make America Great Forever!

Mark Balma is one of my dearest friends, whom I have known since we were 12-years-old. Needless to say, he is an extraordinarily gifted artist, and a wonderful human being!

A wonderful speech and reflection. She is and was the most admirable political leader. Reagan said it best, when asked about Thatcher being elected as the first woman PM, he said her gender doesn’t matter, it her intellect and will. I agree.

Two political giants of their time who made the world a better place.

Thank you for paving the way for women today Lady Thatcher.

We don't get Prime Ministers like Thatcher any more. Shame.

Brilliant....I am a Democrat, but I do love a great leader with a vision. These two had a profound impact on advancing freedom and liberty.

A great piece of Lady T memorabilia. Great speech - funny and heartfelt comments of her fellow leaders. great comment about the pleasure of being history whilst still alive! Thanks for uploading.

Wonderful speech!

Great speech! Why have only 3674 people seen this? This is one of her better speeches, most of the bad ism's have come from Germany, and she's right our relationship with the anglosphere is far more important than our relationship with France/Germany/EU.

I would have loved to have met her also. I grew up with her in the media and I just assumed she would always be there. I think she covered up extremely well in this speech but I agree, with hindsight, the sharpness was in decline.

And say

I really liked this speech. She demonstrated humour and her timing is excellent. She presumably deliberately left out an essential part of the ending of the Cold War, Mr. Gorbachev (apologies the spelling is a guess), as this was In the USA and essentially a comment on a tribute to herself and Mr. Reagan. I am waiting for another strong leader who will fight for his or her beliefs. I fear I have a long wait.

man, she is awesome.

Mrs Thatcher quotes from Ronald Reagan speech given in Royal Albert Hall
What would happen if Freedom were lost?
Two Things  characterises post 1945
Colossal Advance of Science tackling Diseases  and Free Society versus Communism

Did anyone notice she had a little trouble recalling some events?  This is due to the beginning stages of her dementia.  So said she declined the way she did.  I would have loved to have met her.

Lady Thatcher was the kind of leader the west needs today but doesn't have - Putin would have been contained and not invaded Ukraine, if she was in charge.  She would have given Biden a spine, etc.

That's true, a great speech. And it's especially a remarkable one because it shows that Margaret Thatcher -- even if she could be extremely cold and gruff -- actually has a very sweet, humorous and even self-ironical side as well. I'm a Social Democrat and I can understand very well that the victims of her policies consider her a monster. But this is still just one side of that person. In the end, she's just a human being and has more facets than that.

Does anyone know what year this was?
