I do really appreciate Dr Bill's excursus regarding faith (beginning at about 12:00) - although I'm somewhat disappointed in how well he is analyzed it.
Regardless it's great that he is aware that he is simply operating off some sort of humanistic imagination re his assertions. He is honest about it - which is light years ahead of typical evangelical thinking - and I think that's awesome!! 🤗🤗🥳
I cannot believe that Zondervan or Crosswalk woud diss you like that. They have fundamentalist write books that are Creation literalists all the time but because your is primarily academic they shut you out? That makes no sense.
So far so good. I've been viewing this since the first video. I'm not so sure I believe that most Jews were literate. Most Egyptians weren't literate themselves. Royalty, The priesthood and the well-to-do certainly were, and it was the same way with the Jews, and that's not being anti-semetic.
This Jew comment doesn't fit. Judah was only one of twelve tribes of Israel. There are ten tribes that left the area. I'm amazed that authors will sell their soul to get published in the name of Jesus and the followers of Jesus.
