I'm reviving abandoned farmland and trying my hand at rice cultivation.

This time, I'm adding a large amount of cow manure compost to the rice paddies.

Normally, I add about 2 tons per tan (approximately 0.1 hectare), but as an experiment, I also created a paddy field where I added about 10 times that amount—20 tons.

The reason is the soaring cost of fertilizer.

With fertilizers like single-application fertilizers becoming expensive, I wondered if it would be possible to grow rice using inexpensive cow manure compost.

Therefore, this time, I decided to grow rice using different conditions in each paddy field:

Normal amount of cow manure compost + single-application fertilizer

Cow manure compost only

I decided to compare the results of growing rice using these methods.

Of course, I don't know what the outcome will be.

How much difference will there be in yield and growth?

I will record the results as I actually grow the rice.
