I bought a denim jacket at a thrift store. Then added my father’s painting done on fabric and my embroidery. I’ll never get rid of it!

lol Men's stuff in thrift stores tends to have the most fun stuff, especially graphic t-shirts!

Yes girls, yyeeessss, it’s take it or leave it shopping! I can’t make decisions to save myself so I love that it’s yay or nay and move on!

I agree, I tend to shop a lot of different sizes. My favourite thrifted cardigan is a size 8, I am generally a size 14 - 16.

People shouldn't be afraid of getting a cheap sewing machine and having a go at upcycling.  It is so fun

As a plus size Australian thrifter I also look at the table cloths, doona cover, and fabric pieces to sew into clothes for myself

I'm more likely to try clothes on in an op shop than a regular retail store...it just feels more comfortable

Yay..🎉 Australian thrifting. 🐨💚I love the term opp shop, ie an opportunity 😋..so i work in an opp shop and we are literally drowning in fast fashion.  Huge change over the last few years.  Totally agree, i work really hard to ensure our customers have some consistency with how we organise our garments. Love your work ladies💗🌈

Thank You!😊

Great idea with the boots! Love it! You could even use lace on the ends too! 😱🤩

This is wonderful, and I love the shirt twist.

Would love more +size tips & tricks
The plus size shopping struggle is 100% real so disappointin & honestly very depressing.

Fringes are tempting but doesn't it become a mess after the first wash ?

Great tips ladies ! The boot tip is a game changer !

Awesome video and tips!!! I love the idea about the fringe on boots😍

Loved your video.  Not plus size anymore but top and bottom different sizes.

Super information. I don’t want to dress my age, therefore shopping to repurpose and make more artistic. Great ideas, ladies.

I am not a woman but I am short and on the bigger side. Embrace what fits on you. Don't worry about sizes, accept wrinkles on your face and on your clothes. Not going to do any ironing if I can help it. You can fake the fit with a little handsewing if you don't want to spend the money with a tailor etc. Men's clothes aren't as creative or fun colors but the better men's brands at thrift stores for the prices they charge can't be beat $7.99 for something that sells for $89.99 retail in N. California. I go often without expectations!

This was so encouraging, exciting and inspirational!  Thank you, ladies!

Hi. I love men's shirts, etc. Thank you for sharing.
