this really is a step up from the first game

When Marie Antoinette said, "Let them eat cake." This is the cake she meant.

Baghead gang! Baghead gang!
edit:
Frog gang! Frog gang!

Im so glad the developers are killing it with this game. I could tell there was a lot of passion in the first one and it continued into this one. Such a great game and a massive improvement over the first. This studio will be on my radar for any other future projects

The Nameless Captive is one of the few bosses I've seen that gets more dangerous after you get him with a riposte... he shredded me good with that propellor attack a few times.

Holy shit that riposte against the Nameless Captive when he lies on the ground almost made me spit out my coffee

Souls games always got that one hard boss with "Nameless" in their title 😂

There was a drawing at the end of the credits where all shells dance around

If you successfully parry every hit of the multi spin attack you get an achievement called peters perfect parry

Holy shit they added a Soup reference to the game?

I was just punching this boss in the balls with Gragu every time he gets up to knock him down again. This tactic actually works well on so many bosses.

I watched IronPineapple gameplay of the game first and I must say they really did nerf so many things that were so broken hahah

i cant see anyone else mentioning it, but that "Baghead Ending" is probably a reference/running gag to the Baghead ending of Mortal Shell 1. In that game, Baghead asks for some alcohol. and upon retrieving it he invites you to live like he does, no sense and worrying about the fate of the world, eh? so you both drink and play guitar till the world is overrun by monsters.

You should give that guy that heart in the tavern

Thank Miyazaki it's the only shell you got. You don't need to change for anyone! You're perfect like this big dawg!

So that´s the ancestry of Frogland, yes ? You never are done learning : D
By the way, Smert was so powerful they already nerfed him in beta - and he can STILL kill many bosses in two uses of his skill ! You need to level that shit up, though. The Glimpses are super important. Also there is a relic that buffs damage when you are at 50% HP or lower (at level 4) so Smert can instantly get the buff...

that last boss was so damn cool! that intro!

That Baghead ending. 😂 👍🏻
Got me too.

The nameless captive is one of the best soulslike bosses I've ever fought. I think it's even on par with fromsoft bosses. I just wish riposte damage were a bit higher in this game.
