There is differently different kinds of children

- my son would have loved this room till he turned 15 then he became a slob!

I feel with the influence of class mates who never were expected to clean, pick up , etc so instead of fight with him I didn’t open that door for 3 years! He was responsible for cleaning, laundry dishes etc. if he didn’t have it he didn’t have it - price he had to pay for having “ his own place” !

Interestingly, when he moved out, he rented a Tudor style house, was busy decorating , shopping antique malls, etc and even had coasters! He learned early what makes a house a home!

Jameson’s room is adorable and you’ve decorated it so beautifully to fit his age. It is amazing how much whimsy you make things look on a budget and using inexpensive ways to make your home look far more expensive than it is. Your home is exquisite. Just love the antiques and the gorgeous prints you have. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home with us, tips and recommendations to help make our homes look better too.

Beautifully done!! Revel in this age, young mom, because once he's over 12, he won't even let you IN his room again. Cherish every story hour spent together.

That little desk brings back so many memories, as I had one just like it that I loved. Just make sure his little fingers are out of the way when closing the drawer and pushing the chair under. Okay, maybe that was a memory I could not forget!

You create the most intriguing aesthetic, Krysta! Is there a way you can share your makeup routine? I love your timeless beauty look! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤❤❤ Happy Halloween season!

I absolutely love the music you play in the background of your videos! It really sets the mood for the season you're decorating for. I plan to listen to a spooky playlist while doing crafts or making treats with the kids. It really adds to the "magic" of their childhood and I enjoy it as well.

I love that you put the bat upside down lol

So cute and whimsical! One of the things I miss most about my kids being little is reading time, especially the fall and Halloween books.

Love the desk. The decorations are so cute. An idea you could hang the bird cage on the hook just for Halloween and put his hat after the holidays

His room is so sweet and fun . That desk and chair are so dear. I am in Michigan and in my town the last two years have been like a desert as far as finding garage sales. I thought it was just me. Glad to know someone else feels the same. Have a wonderful evening. Blessings - Judith 🎭🎤

Mpix actually can do custom sizes. You need to call and speak to someone. They will help you set it up. You have to pay for the next biggest non-custom size, Mpix will tell you how to use a photo editing program to get your image the right size within the space of the paper, and you just have to cut off the excess margins when the print arrives.

I can't even imagine having a mom who made life an adventure like you do! Everything looks amazing! I have a historic home and like to decorate it accordingly! Thanks for keeping it old and creepy! 🎃 🎃 🎃

Love your Halloween decor! It’s way more inspiring and unique than any big store out there (Target, Anthro, etc)!!

Everything came out so perfect! It’s the most cozy, sweet room for him. It makes my heart happy that Jameson has such a beautiful space to relax and dream and grow in. You are such a good mom. Love your videos so much. Also, that advent calendar is PRECIOUS! I need one!
