Absolute legend. He’s the hardest working player I’ve ever seen.

One of the most underrated players ever

As a west ham fan , he had everything. Skill , passion and charisma Honored he wore the claret & blue. Will always be a legend

His technique was so good. It’s not just his aim, but the way he controls the ball, and the ease at which he switches feet… the goalkeeper was always kept guessing right till the end. Such a technically gifted player.

Best player I’ve seen at Celtic in my lifetime, doesn’t have the legend status of Larsson obviously but what a player, remember watching him warm up when I was a kid, some of the things he would do were just out of this world

Even as a neutral to every team he played for he's the type of player that make you fall in love with this game.

The guy was magic at West Ham, they played such good entertaining football.  I've never seen a team play such nice football and still get regulated, it was so weird.

Crazy if you think about it. Di Canio wasn't a regular player for Italy back then, because they had Roberto Baggio, Alessandro Del Piero, Gianfranco Zola, Giuseppe Signori, and Roberto Mancini for this same position.

Nightmare for goalkeepers. Very unpredictable

Pure Genius.....

Unbelievable talent and very much underrated players, these  kind of gols are only scored by messi or Maradona

What a magical player. Power, balance, skill, passion. COYI.

This dude had some insane practice pitch goals
Italy was stacked at the time but playing outside of the Serie A and having consistent rows with managers specifically Trappatoni had have been the number 1 reason he was never called up for the Italian national squad

Ludicrously two-footed wasn't he?

Legend. There's no other word.

Incredible player. A travesty he didn't play for the Azzuri senior side.

he had the real life FIFA/FC bounce back mechanic lmfao

what a player! :D

My favourite player ever & my favourite goal (v Aberdeen in Gold boots). Broke my heart when he left Celtic

3:43 Reminds me of Dennis Bergkamp's goal.

He was Him. Knew where the goal was and how to get the ball in the back of the net. Mastered the art of rounding a keeper, could score all sorts of goals and had all the skills and made them look effortlessly easy

in my opinion, scored the greatest goal in the premier league with that inside out, reverse scissor kick of his.

Always wanted him at United, but his personally would’ve clashed with Roy Keane. 100% hahaha
If he played for the top 4, his name would pop up more in the greatest premier league players ever. He doesn’t get the plaudits he deserves. Even in Italy, he was unreal. Unfortunately Th at Era of Italian football, was packed with stars all over Italy. That didn’t stop him though from carving out a great career. Don’t care about his personal views in life. Only the football part
He is the type you want in the trenches when everything is on the line. He’ll make it happen. He was Him hahaha
