The Quebec Liberal Party has faced its share of challenges in recent years. After the crushing defeat in 2022 and the controversial forced resignation of leader Pablo Rodriguez, will the relatively unknown Charles Milliard be able to get the party back on track? “My convictions about liberal values are very strong,” he insisted during his interview with our journalist Olivier Arbour-Masse on the Rad podcast.

These values are manifested in particular by a strong belief in the entrepreneurial spirit of Quebecers. He explained that he wants to reduce taxes for SMEs, while reassuring listeners that he “will not make cuts to health, education, or culture.”

Rad invited the leaders of all the major parties for interviews on the Rad podcast in anticipation of the elections to be held on October 5, 2026, in Quebec. They all accepted, except for Paul St-Pierre Plamondon, leader of the Parti Québécois, who cancelled his appearance due to scheduling conflicts. Enjoy!
