Marshall restores a vintage watch owned by a Patreon supporter named Cory who inherited a watch from his Grandfather after he passed away. Cory wants the watch restored so he can wear it at his wedding as a way to remember and honor his Grandpa.
His Grandpa worked for McDonald's in the 1970s and eventually had two stores of his own. The watch was a gift from his co-workers for a job well done as he moved his operations to North Carolina from New Jersey. Enjoy this one!

He and I a few months ago started binge watching your watch revival videos. Cory is a fellow tinkerer but I am not and I was so lost in the beginning but very intrigued. By the 5th video we were discussing your revivals and I was using the lingo like I had been in the “know” for years 🤣🤣.
During one of our binge sessions Cory said to me “I wonder if he could repair papaws watch? Then I could wear it at the wedding…” I did not hesitate and said “It never hurts to ask!” And I am so thankful he did! When we first watched this he was beaming from ear to ear with tears in his eyes. We were glued to the screen and when you revealed that dial we both gasped and I yelled “SHUT UP!” As if you could hear me 😂.
Thank you once again friend for the beautiful work you do. We are forever fans and forever indebted to you 🫶🏻
This watch looks like it has been worn a lot but literally showed straight lines and a healthy amplitude while being a few decades old.
Water and dust protection with the original gasket is also spot on!.
This is literally Rolex level durability.
That's why vintage Seiko has an unbeatable charm.
It's nice to see something other than a Rolex or Omega.
