Think your favorite detective show is edgy? Meet Jack Frost—the messy, sarcastic, rule-breaking detective who actually gets results. Long before streaming series and true crime podcasts, the BBC dropped this gritty radio drama that introduced a whole new kind of cop.

🎧 Three Days of Frost (1977) is where it all began.
🚨 A missing kid. Freezing streets. A cop who won’t quit.
🎙️ Featuring Leslie Sands as DI Jack Frost — before the novels, before the TV show.

Set just before Christmas during a bitter cold snap, Three Days of Frost is a tense mystery that’s full of raw emotion, dark humor, and a detective who’s as real as they come. It’s not polished—neither is Frost. That’s what makes it legendary.

If you like:
Gritty British crime stories
Detective characters who bend the rules
Dark, atmospheric mysteries
Audio dramas that feel like true crime podcasts
…you’ll love this.

🔊 Hit play and meet the detective who came before them all.
🧊 Cold case. Cold weather. One relentless detective.

💬 Drop your thoughts below—does Jack Frost beat your favorite streaming detective?
